Bronx, NY – An update has been provided regarding an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Monday, May 29, in the Bronx.

On Tuesday, police arrested Michael Rios, a 21-year-old male residing at 510 East 156th Street in Bronx, NY. Rios is facing charges of murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. The arrest was made as part of the ongoing investigation.

On May 29, around 10:50 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting a male who had been shot inside 1199 Boston Road reporting a shooting.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 42-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.

The deceased individual has been identified as Clifford White, 42, from the Bronx.
