QUEENS, NEW YORK – Early Saturday morning, a 31-year-old man was shot and killed at 101-12 125 Street, as confirmed by police from the 102nd Precinct.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 4:19 a.m., finding the man with a gunshot wound to his chest. The man, later identified as Treva Sookmangal of 103-12 102 Street, Queens, was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
There are currently no arrests, and the investigation continues.
Authorities request that anyone with information about this incident come forward.
