NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public help to identify a male linked to an assault in Queens.
The incident took place on Sunday, October 8, around 6:20 AM inside the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74 Street station. An unknown male approached a 41-year-old victim, snatched his umbrella, and proceeded to assault him with it, hitting his wrist and head.

The attacker escaped on a northbound “E” train. The victim, suffering from swelling to his head and wrist, sought treatment at NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst.
The assailant is described as a male, 18 to 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, with a dark complexion, short black hair, and a thin mustache. He was spotted wearing sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt, and gray sweatpants.
