TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Township Zoning Board of Adjustment has canceled its Feb. 18 special meeting to discuss the application of the Chabad Jewish Center.
The applicant requested a postponement of the meeting, citing personal reasons. The meeting was to take place at the Toms River High School North auditorium. The Zoning Board will now set a new date for this special meeting at its next regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at the L. Manuel Hirshblond Room, Town Hall, 33 Washington Street in Toms River.
The Chabad wants to use its existing residential structure as a religious school and community center.
