CHESAPEAKE, VA — Harvest Church’s annual trunk or treat event, held on October 27, was a resounding success with participation from more than 1300 families. The Chesapeake Police Department also participated in the event, showcasing patrol cars, bikes, and their SWAT Bear Cat vehicle.
Officers from the department were a popular feature of the gathering, offering families the opportunity to tour police vehicles and learn more about local law enforcement.
The department said they had a great time participating in the community event. Both the church and the police hope that everyone enjoyed the occasion.
