Philadelphia Man Fatally Wounded in Atlantic City Shooting

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Khalid Scott, a 26-year-old man from Philadelphia, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, a day after being shot in Atlantic City.

Scott was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head while seated in a two-door sedan on the 1900 block of Grant Avenue, around 12:50 p.m. on Friday.

He was rushed to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, where he was declared deceased at 2:15 p.m. the following day.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are actively investigating both cases.
