Robbery Attempt Thwarted by Employee at Knickerbocker Avenue Store

BROOKLYN, NY — A bold robbery attempt was foiled at a store located at 355 Knickerbocker Avenue on October 30, 2023. The incident, which occurred at around 4:00 PM, involved two unidentified men attempting to steal over-the-counter medication.

According to reports, the duo entered the store and broke into a locked display to access the medication. However, their exit was intercepted by a 32-year-old female employee, leading to a struggle. The employee successfully recovered the stolen items, and the would-be robbers subsequently fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on Stockholm Street.

The first suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall male with a dark complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a black hat, tan hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and multicolored sneakers. The second suspect also has a dark complexion and medium build, approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a blue hat, camouflage jacket, dark blue jeans, and black sneakers.

No injuries were reported during the incident. The police are actively investigating and seeking information on the suspects.
