Laurel Man Arrested for Possession of Stolen Vehicle in Hanover

HANOVER, MD – On November 29, Khali Omar Henry, an 18-year-old resident of Laurel, Maryland, was arrested in Hanover for driving a stolen vehicle and for outstanding warrants.

The incident unfolded around 3:10 p.m. when an officer attempted to stop a white 2018 Hyundai Sonata, reported stolen, in the 7600 block of Arundel Mills Boulevard. Henry fled from the vehicle as it stopped. Subsequently, a woman exited a nearby restaurant, seeking to retrieve her boyfriend’s phone from the stolen car. This led officers to enter the restaurant, where they found and arrested Henry.
