Knife Assault at West Chester Pub Leads to Aggravated Assault Charge

WEST CHESTER, PA – On Sunday, at around 1:15 am, police officers responded to a reported assault at Kildare’s Pub, located at 18 W Gay Street.

Mark Kowalsky, a 24-year-old from Downingtown, PA, was identified as the offender.

Kowalsky reportedly pulled out a knife inside the pub and cut a female victim on her hand.

He faces charges of aggravated assault and related crimes.

A preliminary hearing is pending for Kowalsky, who now faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, possession of instruments of crime, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.
