Royal Farms Sells Winning $100K Holiday Money Match Ticket to Local Nurse

BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore nurse’s impromptu decision to purchase FAST PLAY tickets at Royal Farms #008 led to a remarkable $100,000 win. After enduring a lengthy car repair on a rainy day, she chose to visit the store at 1630 West Joppa Road, buying four Holiday Money Match tickets.

The discovery of her potential top prize occurred while conversing with her sister. Initially skeptical, she returned to the store the following day to confirm her win. The nurse, who finds playing lottery games relaxing, eagerly anticipates new holiday-themed games each year. Her previous wins include modest amounts in Keno and FAST PLAY games.

The Holiday Money Match game, available since November 6, is part of a festive lineup including other FAST PLAY tickets and a Holiday Cash second-chance promotion that started in October.

Despite her substantial win, the nurse, with a long career in her field, does not plan to retire but intends to use her winnings to financially assist her family and friends.

Royal Farms #008 is also a beneficiary, earning a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket. The Holiday Money Match game continues to offer substantial prizes, including 27 additional $100,000 top prizes and 67 prizes of $10,000.
