NYPD Seeks Help Locating Missing Teenager in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating 15-year-old Carlos Mellado, a resident of 1119 Quentin Road, within the 61 Precinct area. Mellado was reported missing on December 15, 2023.

Mellado was last seen at his residence on the morning of Friday, December 15, 2023, at about 7:15 a.m. He is described as a Hispanic male with a light complexion, standing approximately 5’5″ tall and weighing about 150 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair.

At the time of his disappearance, Mellado was wearing a red sweatshirt, black Nike pants, and red sneakers. The NYPD has released a photo of the missing teenager and is urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward to aid in the search and ensure his safe return.
