Suspect Sought in Deadly Queens Stabbing

NEW YORK, NY — Following the stabbing incident on Friday, December 15, at around 10:41 PM at East 26 Street and Park Avenue S, within the 13th Precinct, the NYPD has identified a suspect. The individual sought in connection with the assault is Thierno Bah, an 18-year-old male. The NYPD’s Crime Stoppers has released media depicting Bah, available at the DCPI.

The stabbing, initially reported as an assault in progress, resulted in the death of an 18-year-old male, now identified as Denzel Bimpey of 1240 Washington Avenue, Bronx, NY. Bimpey suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest, shoulder, and arm and was pronounced dead at NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue.

As of December 16, there have been no arrests. The investigation continues.
