Four Lucky Winners Bag $50K Each in NY Powerball

BROOKLYN/HICKSVILLE/HOWARD BEACH/SUFFERN, NY – The New York Lottery has announced that four third-prize-winning Powerball tickets, each netting a $50,000 prize, were sold in various locations for the January 1 drawing.

The fortunate retailers are 51 DELI & GROCERY in Brooklyn, located at 51 Hegeman Avenue; 7-ELEVEN in Hicksville at 158 Woodbury Road; BRAHIMANI KRUPA in Howard Beach, situated at 161-04 Crossbay Boulevard; and SUFFERN FOOD MART in Suffern, at 18-20 Lafayette Avenue.

In Powerball, players choose numbers from two sets: one to 69 for the white balls and one to 26 for the red Power Ball. Powerball drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
