Toms River Seniors Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Style

The Toms River Council and staff at the senior center restarted the township’s annual Valentine’s Day dance and dinner this year.  While the weather was chilly outside, inside approximately 150 seniors heated up the dance floor.

They also enjoyed a nice Valentine’s Day dinner, live music, and entertainment.

Toms River Council President Craig Coleman was joined by Council Vice President Lynn O’Toole and Councilman Tom Nivison.

The entertainment was provided by the very talented singer, Paul Bernhardt. Tara Bonelli the Senior Marketing Director at Complete Care provided the dessert and door prize.

The next big event for the center will be on Wednesday, April 24th  Atlantic City Trip to Resorts Casino. $30.00 per person which includes transportation both ways and $20.00 back in slot credit.  The event is just one of many being planned this year at the senior center, where entertainment is available every Monday through Friday.

Weekly events at the senior center include yoga, game days, exercise classes, Zumba, line dancing, and Friday Bingo.
