BRONX, NY – Tyrell Williams, a 17-year-old from the Bronx, has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of another teen, Laquai Dash. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 7, at approximately 4:00 pm at 762 Cauldwell Avenue. Upon responding to multiple 911 calls, officers found Dash, also 17, with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Emergency services transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was later pronounced dead. Williams faces charges of murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. The tragedy has left the community grappling with the loss of another young life to gun violence.
