STATEN ISLAND, NY — A theft at a commercial establishment turned confrontational when the suspect brandished a knife. Police were informed that the incident occurred on Saturday, March 9, at approximately 12:25 p.m., at a business located at 327 Victory Boulevard.
The unidentified male suspect was reported to have taken merchandise off the store shelves in an attempt to leave without paying. Upon being confronted by a store employee, the suspect revealed a knife. He was last observed fleeing the scene on foot, heading in an unspecified direction.
