Plane Crashes After South Jersey Regional Airport

LUMBERTON – A Beechcraft Sierra plane crashed after taking off from South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported. The incident transpired at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Monday.

The pilot was inside the aircraft during the crash, and the FAA provided no details regarding the pilot’s condition. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the accident, with the NTSB overseeing the inquiry and disseminating any developments as necessary.
