WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division request the community’s assistance locating a robbery suspect implicated in multiple incidents across the city. The suspect has targeted various convenience stores, employing a similar method in each crime.
On Tuesday, April 23, around 12:03 PM, the suspect attacked a store in the 3000 block of 14th Street, Northwest, using a fire extinguisher to incapacitate employees before fleeing with a cash register. This incident was captured on surveillance video.

Similar episodes occurred on previous days, with the first recorded on Monday, April 15, at approximately 6:30 AM at a store on Hawaii Avenue, Northeast. The pattern continued on Wednesday, April 17, around 12:46 AM on 3rd Street, Northeast, and again on Friday, April 18, at about 9:15 AM on Columbia Road, Northwest. In each case, the suspect used a fire extinguisher to threaten store employees before stealing cash.
The police have released surveillance footage of the suspect in these incidents.
