Man Arrested for 2020 Triple Shooting in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC – Earnest Dangelo Cleveland, 30, from Southeast, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a triple shooting incident from October 2020. D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fifth District detectives made the arrest today, following an issued D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant.

The incident occurred on the evening of October 10, 2020, around 8:32 PM in the 600 block of 19th Street, Northeast. Responding officers discovered two men and a woman with gunshot wounds. All victims were taken to local hospitals and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Cleveland now faces charges of Assault with Intent to Kill.
