Allegheny Police Department Celebrates Brando

Pittsburgh, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department honored Brando, a former member of their Mounted Unit, in a retirement ceremony held today. Brando joined the unit in 2014 but faced a significant leg injury in 2018, leading to his initial retirement.

After impressive recovery, Brando was brought back to duty in 2021 before officially being retired again. Aged around 24 years old, Brando will now enjoy a peaceful retirement at Round Hill Park, marking the end of his service to the community. An event to celebrate his contributions was held to commemorate his years of service.
