HORNELL, NY—A lucky lottery player has won a top prize from the TAKE 5 evening drawing held on Thursday. The New York Lottery confirmed that the winning ticket, worth $36,566.50, was purchased at a Wegmans store located at 1000 ST RT 36 N in Hornell.

The winning numbers for TAKE 5, a game where participants choose from a pool of 39 numbers, are drawn twice daily at 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Winners have up to one year from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.
