An Alexandria police officer has been charged with reckless driving after crashing into another vehicle while pursuing a stolen car last month, authorities confirmed.

Following a review by the Alexandria Commonwealth’s Attorney, Frazier was served a summons for reckless driving—a Class 1 misdemeanor under Virginia law.

Frazier, who joined the Alexandria Police Department in October, remains on duty as the department conducts an internal administrative review.

Officials noted that all Alexandria officers undergo Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) training, designed to promote safe pursuit practices.
