WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two armed suspects stole a vehicle at gunpoint early Sunday morning in Northeast D.C., prompting a police investigation and a citywide lookout.
Just after 4 a.m. on April 20, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 400 block of Taylor Street, NE, following a report of a carjacking. The suspects were described as two Black males wearing all black clothing and armed with handguns.
The stolen vehicle is a silver 2022 Toyota Rav4 with D.C. tags. Police have not released additional details about the incident, including whether the victim sustained injuries during the encounter.
The case remains under investigation. Authorities are working to locate the suspects and recover the stolen vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, and MPD has not released surveillance images or footage related to the incident. The public is advised not to approach the suspects if seen.
