BRONX, N.Y. — A top-prize TAKE 5 ticket worth $18,931 was sold for the April 19 midday drawing, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning ticket was purchased at 912 Jairo Deli Grocery, located at 912 Soundview Avenue in the Bronx. The retailer will receive a bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize ticket.

The identity of the winner has not been revealed. As with all New York Lottery games, the TAKE 5 top prize varies depending on the number of tickets sold and winners per draw.

The April 19 win adds to a growing list of recent top-prize hits across New York City, continuing the strong performance of local retailers in the game.
