GLEN BURNIE, MD – Three masked men held up a 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning, escaping with cash after threatening a store clerk with a gun in an overnight robbery that has prompted a countywide investigation.

Anne Arundel County police said the holdup happened around 2:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 7700 block of Quarterfield Road. According to investigators, the suspects entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money before fleeing the scene in a waiting vehicle.

No injuries were reported, but detectives with the department’s Regional Crimes Unit are actively investigating. Police released descriptions of the suspects, all identified as Black males: one wearing a black hoodie, black face covering, black pants, and white shoes; another in a black North Face jacket and black face covering; and the third in a blue hoodie with a white chest graphic, camo face cover, and blue jeans.
