Gun-wielding suspects flee Taussig Place robbery in SUV

WASHINGTON, DC — Four armed men wearing ski masks and dark clothing are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred just after midnight Friday in Northeast Washington, police confirmed in a citywide alert.

The robbery took place in the 1000 block of Taussig Place NE at approximately 12:00 a.m. on October 24. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects — described as four Black males between the ages of 18 and 24 — were armed with firearms and fled the scene in a gray SUV.

No injuries or specific details about what was taken have been released at this time. Officers from MPD’s 4th District responded to the incident and continue to investigate.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has relevant information is urged not to approach the suspects. Instead, contact police immediately by calling 911 or the department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous tips may also be sent by texting 50411.
