Attempted murder charge filed in Baltimore shooting that injured two

Police say a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting that wounded two people has been taken into custody

BALTIMORE, Md. — A man accused of opening fire during a Baltimore shooting that left two people wounded has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, police announced.

Baltimore Police said 21-year-old Marvin Harrison was taken into custody on June 3 without incident in connection with a shooting that occurred on May 13 in the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road.

Following his arrest, Harrison was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The arrest stems from a shooting reported at approximately 9:18 p.m. on May 13.

According to investigators, Northern District officers responded to the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road and found a 21-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police later learned that a second victim, a 38-year-old man, had also been shot.

Investigators said the second victim drove from the shooting scene to the 2400 block of Dukeland Street before being located with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

He was also transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the shooting.

The charges against Harrison are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
