Phil Stilton Paris shoot-out: the shocking images of the terrorist attack against satyrical weekly
A video has been release that captures the two unidentified terrorists shooting and wounding a Paris police officer, then executing him while he was apparently pleading with them.
Attackers shouted, “Alluha Ackbar”, translated, “God is Great” and “We have avenged the Prophet.”
LAKEWOOD-On Tuesday at approximately 5:18 pm, Lakewood Police were dispatched to the intersection of Clifton Avenue and Carey Street for a report of a pedestrian struck. Upon their arrival they found a nine year old Lakewood boy had been struck. Hatzolah EMS transported the unconscious child to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he was treated for various injuries including head injuries.
The subsequent preliminary investigation by the Lakewood Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office indicates that a School Bus was turning from Carey St, southbound onto Clifton Ave. The bus stopped with its’ warning stop lights activated as students disembarked. As the 9 year old boy left the bus and began to cross the street, he was struck by a 2004 Nissan Sentra traveling northbound on Clifton Ave and dragged through the intersection approximately 80 feet.
The driver of the Nissan Sentra is identified as Michael Adler, 26, of Lakewood. At this time, Adler is charged with Reckless Driving and Failure to Stop for a School Bus. Adler consented to a blood draw which was conducted at Kimball Medical Center. The investigation continues to ascertain if additional charges are warranted
PARIS,FRANCE-Two terrorists shouting “Allahu Akbar”, translated “God is Great” fired their weapons on the streets of Paris this morning and killed at least 12 journalists and 2 police officers.
The incident occurred at the offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, known for publishing cartoons mocking the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
“The assassination of journalists at Charlie Hebdo, cynically targeted on press day to maximise casualties, is an attempt to assassinate the free press,” wrote Michelle Stanistreet, general secretary of the National Union of Journalists in the United Kingdom.
“Everybody here at the White House are with the families of those who were killed or injured in this attack,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said in an interview this morning on MSNBC.
After the attack the gunmen fled north to Paris’ Porte de Pantin Metro Station.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH-On Tuesday, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center announced it has rescued its first harbor seal pup of the season stranded on Ocean County’s beaches.
The male pup weighed 37.4 pounds and is 36.5 inches long. The center said the seal has a respiratory infection and wounds caused by a possible shark bite.
