Massive drug bust uncovers fentanyl heroin stash in Baltimore home as three arrested
BALTIMORE, MD — A month-long drug investigation led to a major narcotics seizure in Southwest Baltimore, where authorities uncovered thousands of doses of dangerous drugs inside a city home, officials said.
The raid took place March 19 in the 1800 block of McHenry Street, where officers executed a search warrant following a joint investigation involving Baltimore Police and Baltimore County narcotics units.
Inside the residence, investigators discovered a large cache of suspected drugs, including approximately 6,800 gel caps of heroin, 37 pieces of cocaine and about 2.5 kilograms of fentanyl — one of the deadliest synthetic opioids.
Authorities also recovered roughly $1,600 in cash believed to be tied to drug activity.
The investigation involved multiple specialized units, including the Southwest District Action Team, patrol officers and violence reduction teams.
Three individuals — Tylan Holden, 25, Jarrod Butler Jr., 27, and Daryll Still Jr., 50 — were taken into custody and transported to Central Booking.
All three face multiple charges related to drug possession and distribution.
Officials said the operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat the spread of dangerous narcotics in Baltimore communities.
