BALTIMORE, MD – Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape that occurred Saturday evening near the Johns Hopkins University campus.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Wyman Park Drive, an area frequented by students and residents.

According to Baltimore Police, the suspect approached a woman and attempted to assault her before fleeing the scene.

Police release photos of suspect

Authorities released surveillance images showing the individual walking on a brick pathway near the scene. Detectives believe the man may have information related to the attack.

Investigators urge public assistance

Anyone who recognizes the person pictured or has information about the incident is asked to contact detectives at 410-396-2455. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP, via the “P3 Tips” mobile app, or at metrocrimestoppers.org.
