Three wounded in midday shooting inside South Baltimore home
Baltimore, MD – A late-morning burst of gunfire inside a Fairhaven Avenue residence sent multiple victims to hospitals and drew homicide detectives to the scene as a Southern District shooting investigation unfolded in broad daylight.
The incident occurred Saturday around 11:04 a.m. in the 3900 block of Fairhaven Avenue after reports of shots fired prompted a response to the home. Inside, a 41-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Aid was immediately provided at the scene, including the use of a chest shield and tourniquet, until medics arrived. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A short time later, a 32-year-old man arrived at a nearby hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound believed to be connected to the same incident.
Because of the severity of the teenager’s injuries, homicide detectives responded and joined the investigation. No arrests were announced as the inquiry continued.
