Shooting inside East Baltimore store leaves two men wounded

Baltimore, MD – A late Saturday night inside a neighborhood store on Eastern Avenue erupted into chaos when gunfire followed a physical altercation, leaving two young men wounded as others fled into the street.

The shooting unfolded around 10:27 p.m. in the 4100 block of Eastern Avenue, where officers on patrol noticed several people running out of a store. Inside, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand and a 25-year-old man shot in the arm.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment and were reported to be in stable condition.

Initial findings indicate a physical fight broke out inside the store before shots were fired. No arrests were announced as the investigation continued.

Detectives assigned to the Southeast District are seeking information related to the incident.
