ATLANTA, GA – Jon Taffer, the hospitality entrepreneur and executive producer of Paramount Network’s Bar Rescue, is expanding his Taffer’s Tavern franchise with a new Midtown Atlanta location set to open February 10 at 1382 Peachtree St. NE.

The opening marks the continued growth of Taffer’s Tavern, a modern tavern concept built around classic food, craft cocktails, and a system-driven service model developed from decades of bar and restaurant operations experience. The Midtown site introduces an updated design, an expanded menu, and offerings tailored to local preferences.

Taffer’s Tavern is designed as a neighborhood gathering place, blending a hospitality-first approach with a consistent operating framework. The Midtown location features a next-generation layout intended to reflect the brand’s focus on reliability, guest experience, and operational standards.

The Atlanta opening is the third Taffer’s Tavern location for franchisee Hemant Suri and his partners. Their previous locations include Alpharetta, Georgia, home to the first-ever Taffer’s Tavern, and a venue inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Suri was the first franchisee to bring the concept to Georgia.

Suri said the expansion reflects the brand’s role as a community-focused tavern concept, noting that each new opening has built on the idea of creating spaces where guests gather regularly rather than destination-only venues.

Taffer said the Midtown Atlanta location aligns with the brand’s core philosophy of combining structured systems with service-driven hospitality, adding that Atlanta’s emphasis on food, nightlife, and walkable neighborhoods made Midtown a natural fit for the concept.

The Midtown tavern is positioned within one of Atlanta’s most active districts, surrounded by offices, residences, and cultural venues. The location is intended to serve local residents, professionals, and visitors seeking a central gathering space within the city’s dining and nightlife corridor.

The new restaurant also reflects Taffer’s Tavern’s culinary direction, featuring updated takes on tavern staples and sauces developed in collaboration with the brand’s spirits portfolio. The menu blends established guest favorites with new items tied to the brand’s broader quality and consistency goals.
