Berks County Store Sells Powerball Ticket Worth 0K

MIDDLETOWN, PA – The Pennsylvania Lottery has announced a significant win in Berks County, where a Powerball ticket with Power Play option, worth an impressive $150,000, was sold. This ticket was for the Powerball drawing held on Saturday, January 20.

The lucky ticket successfully matched four of the five white balls drawn — 16, 31, 34, 47, 65 — and the red Powerball® 10, leading to this substantial win. The prize was notably enhanced by the $1 Power Play option, tripling the original $50,000 win to $150,000, thanks to the Power Play multiplier of three drawn in the lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at Turkey Hill at 2001 Kutztown Road in Reading. As a result of selling the winning ticket, Turkey Hill will be awarded a $500 bonus.

The identity of the winner remains unknown until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. The Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. The Pennsylvania Lottery advises that tickets purchased at a retailer should be signed on the back immediately to ensure security. For online purchases, winnings are automatically credited to the player’s account.
