Blair County Lottery Player Scores $100,000 Powerball Win

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® with Power Play® ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Blair County for the Saturday, February 1 drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket, purchased at Martin General Store located at 320 East First Street in Williamsburg, matched four of the five white balls—23, 29, 32, 49, 61—and the red Powerball® 8. The ticket’s value doubled from $50,000 to $100,000 thanks to the $1 Power Play® option, with a multiplier of two drawn. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners remain unknown until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchase.

In the same drawing, more than 29,600 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes, including over 6,000 tickets with Power Play® and more than 2,900 with Double Play®. Players should check every ticket to ensure they claim any winnings.
