BRICK, N.J. – The Brick branch of the Ocean County Library has announced a full schedule of community programs to close out December, offering activities for teens, children, and adults in the days leading up to the New Year.

On Monday, December 29 at 6 p.m., the library will host Teen Volunteer Day in the Teen Zone for ages 12 to 18. Participants can earn one hour of community service by assisting with library projects. A current teen volunteer application and free registration are required. Registration is available by phone at (732) 477-4513 or online at theoceancountylibrary.libnet.info/event/14748735.

Later that evening from 6 to 7 p.m., children ages 3 to 5 can drop in for a New Year’s Eve Craft session to make a festive holiday project. No registration is needed for the drop-in craft.

The final event, Dips & Sips: Celebrating the New Year, will take place Wednesday, December 31 at 1:30 p.m. The relaxed afternoon gathering will feature snacks, drinks, and a chance to toast the new year early with fellow community members.
