BROOKLYN, NY – A single Take 5 ticket worth 29837.50 dollars was sold at a neighborhood deli in Brooklyn for Wednesday night’s drawing, delivering a top prize to one lucky player in the Feb. 18 evening game.

The New York Lottery confirmed that one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Take 5 Evening drawing held Wednesday.

The winning ticket was purchased at 288 Sams Deli, located at 288 Avenue U in Brooklyn. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn to secure the 29837.50 dollar prize.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. Drawings are broadcast twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Winners of Lottery draw game prizes have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery reported contributing 3.6 billion dollars during fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools across the state, maintaining its status as North America’s largest and most profitable lottery.
