WASHINGTON, D.C. – Kuachua Brillion Xiong, a 27-year-old from California, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to threatening the lives of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The sentencing took place on Tuesday by U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame.

Following his prison term, Xiong will undergo three years of supervised release and is required to contribute $100 to the Crime Victim’s Fund. He initially faced several charges, including attempts to kidnap or kill a government official and possessing a firearm during a violent crime. However, these charges were dropped in exchange for his guilty plea to one count of making threats against the president and successors.

The arrest occurred in Iowa, where Xiong was stopped for aggressive driving by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. His vehicle contained multiple weapons, and his GPS was set to the White House, which he claimed he intended to visit to take pictures.
