CAMBRIDGE, MD – An early Monday morning shooting in Cambridge left a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound. Officers responded to a call at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center just before 3:30 a.m. to find the teen suffering from a single gunshot wound to his chest.
The Cambridge Police Department confirmed that the teen had managed to contact a family member after being shot, who then transported him to the hospital. Evidence related to the shooting was found at a residence on the 900 block of Camelia Street.
The victim is currently in stable condition at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
