D.C. Police Seek Leads in Shooting Incident on Georgia Avenue

Washington, D.C. – Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a shooting in Northwest.

On Monday, September 30, at approximately 4:21 p.m., Fourth District officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5900 block of Georgia Avenue. Upon arrival, officers learned that a group of juveniles had been involved in an altercation when the suspect began firing a weapon. A juvenile male was struck and was subsequently transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras, and images are available for public viewing.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
