WASHINGTON, D.C. — A vehicle linked to a broad-daylight shooting in the Kenilworth neighborhood is being sought by investigators following an incident that left one man hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred Tuesday at approximately 1:44 p.m. in the 4400 block of Quarles Street, Northeast. Responding Sixth District officers located an adult male who had been shot. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

The Metropolitan Police Department is urging the public to assist in identifying the vehicle. No suspects have been publicly named, and no arrests have been made as of Friday.
The motive behind the shooting has not been disclosed. Officials are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Investigators are reviewing evidence and witness accounts in connection to the shooting. The block where the incident occurred remained active with police presence for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
Officials have not released a description of the suspects, and it is unclear how many individuals were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
