Dozens of adorable cats hit adoption floor as shelter opens doors for same day take home
Jackson, NJ — A wave of newly available cats is filling the Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter, giving potential adopters a chance to meet and take home pets the same day.
The shelter announced that dozens of cats are now ready for adoption, with doors open daily from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for walk-in visits.

Officials said no appointment is required, and same-day adoptions are available if requirements are met.
Each adopted pet comes spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated as appropriate for age, and examined by a veterinarian as part of the adoption process.
Adoption fees are set at $55 for cats and $60 for dogs.

Shelter staff said the latest arrivals include a range of cats now available to meet the public.
