TOLEDO, Ohio — Newly released body camera video captures the moment a Toledo police officer rescued a woman from a burning home, an incident that ended with both residents surviving the fire.
The Toledo Police Department released the footage after Officer Ben Cousino rescued a resident from a house fire on Wade Street earlier this week.
Police said Officer Cousino recently visited the woman, identified only as Maria, at the hospital to check on her recovery.
According to the department, Maria is recovering well and remains in good spirits.
