A fatal shooting on Frederick Avenue left one man dead while another victim sought treatment at a nearby hospital, police said.
BALTIMORE, Md. — A man was shot and killed in broad daylight Friday afternoon in Southwest Baltimore, while a second victim later walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound connected to the same incident, according to police.
Officers responded at about 3:27 p.m. on June 27 to the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said a second victim, a 21-year-old man, later arrived at an area hospital seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Baltimore Police homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
The identity of the man who was killed has not been released.
Investigators have not announced any arrests or released information about a possible suspect or motive.
