Alonzo Montanya of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office was recognized as the New York State Youth Officer of the Year by the State of New York Police Juvenile Officers Association (SNYPJOA). The award was presented to Sgt. Montanya on August 22 during the association’s annual training conference.
