NEW YORK, NY – A daylight robbery occurred on the corner of River Avenue and East 167 Street on Sunday, December 24, at about 1:00 PM. A 70-year-old woman fell victim to a theft, with the perpetrator snatching $20 before fleeing.
The incident took place as the elderly woman stood on the street corner. An unidentified male approached her, quickly took $20, and then escaped from the scene. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a male, around 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a dark complexion and a medium build. He was last observed wearing a black jacket, black pants, and red sneakers.
