Fort Lee Junior Police Academy Cadets Engage in Community Activities

Fort Lee, NJ – Day 6 of the Fort Lee Junior Police Academy was marked by various community engagements and physical activities for the cadets. The day began with stretching and light exercises at the Fort Lee Community Center.

After warming up, the cadets participated in a light jog to the Fort Lee VFW, escorted by the Fort Lee Police Motorcycle Unit. At the VFW, they had the opportunity to interact with veterans who shared insights about their organization and honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The journey continued to the Fort Lee Public Library, where the cadets enjoyed a light snack. The day’s activities concluded at Fort Lee Firehouse Company #3, where they learned about fire safety and prevention. The cadets particularly enjoyed the demonstration involving a fire truck water spray, facilitated by the Fort Lee Fire Prevention and Fire Department Company #3.
