FREEPORT, N.Y. — A lucky TAKE 5 player is holding a top-prize ticket worth $36,262 after Wednesday’s evening drawing, with the winning ticket sold at Bodega Familia on North Main Street.

The ticket, purchased at 357 N Main St. in Freeport, matched all winning numbers drawn from a pool of one through 39. TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., offering players multiple chances to win.

Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize at any authorized New York Lottery claim center.

The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to support public education across New York State.
