Georgia felony warrant lands Allegany County woman in jail

Cumberland woman held without bond on Georgia felony identity fraud warrant

CUMBERLAND, MD — A 44-year-old Cumberland woman is being held without bond after police discovered she was wanted in Georgia on a felony identity fraud charge.

Beth Ann Blough was arrested Feb. 12 after officers learned she had an extraditable warrant issued July 3 in Camden County, Georgia. The warrant charges her with felony identity fraud.

Blough was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is being held without bond pending extradition to Georgia.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
