AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE
OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING ORDINANCE 02-2025 ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGE FOR ALL OF THE VARIOUS OFFICIALS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP FOR THE YEAR 2025 AND THEREAFTER”
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the aforementioned ordinance was adopted after public
hearing during a Regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Jackson held on
November 13, 2025, at Jackson Township Municipal Building, located at 95 W Veterans
Highway, Jackson, New Jersey.

ORDINANCE NO. 2025-44
ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON,
COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY,
AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 103,
ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” ARTICLE XIV,
“SCHEDULES”
BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of
Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 103 of the Municipal Code of the Township of Jackson, entitled
“Vehicles and Traffic,” is hereby amended and supplemented so as to amend Article XIV,
entitled “Schedules”, Section 103-45.1, Schedule IA: No Parking, Stopping or Standing so as to
add the following roadway to Schedule IA:
§103-45.1 Schedule IA: No Parking, Stopping or Standing
Name of Street Side Location
Hyson Road Both sides Along both sides of Hyson Road between the
westerly side of Scotland Drive and the easterly
side of Hanover Road (a paper street).
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this
ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed
by the Township Council on first reading at a meeting of the Township Council of the
Township of Jackson held on the 13th day of November, 2025, and will be considered for
second reading and final passage at a regular meeting of the Township Council to be held on
the 25th day of November, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at the Township Municipal Building, located at
95 West Veterans Highway, Jackson, New Jersey, at which time and place any persons desiring
to be heard upon the same will be given the opportunity to be so heard.

ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY
OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 21-21 AND REINSTATING ALL PRIOR
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 298-6
BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of
Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
SECTION 1. The Township has previously authorized and adopted Ordinance 21-21
establishing a special events permit process; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs finds that the Ordinance is
violative of provisions of the New Jersey Administrative Code and unenforceable. As a result,
the Township hereby repeals Ordinance No. 21-21 and reinstates the provisions of subchapter
as previously existed.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 21-21 be and hereby is appealed in its entirety.
SECTION 3. Chapter 298-6 of the Township Code shall be reinstated as previously
existing prior to the adoption of Ordinance No. 21-21.
SECTION 4. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this
ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect after second reading and upon publication,
as required by and in conformance with law.
